Safe Host, the leading provider of data center services in the Geneva region, today announced the completion of its power and cooling upgrade program to its data centre. The expansion to 10MW, which was prompted by strong customer and market demand, is now available for new customer deployments.
Among the first customers to take advantage of this high power density capability is one of the world largest search engines who moved into 1,000sqm of the facility and have a contract with Safe Host to draw up to 2MW of power.
Gérard Sikias, CEO, said "We are seeing increased demand from corporate clients for higher power density services. In particular, high performance media and entertainment sites and blade server configurations are a real growth area for us. Consequently, we needed to expand our power and cooling capabilities to cater to the expected growth." |
