Safe Host Wins IATA Outsourcing Contract |

IATA decides to Outsource the Hosting of the Prorate Agency's Proviso Composer Application to Safe Host's Data Center in Geneva.
IATA's Prorate Agency administers and coordinates multilateral agreements for the sharing of interline revenue among close to 200 signatory airlines. These agreements are also used as a basis for bilateral agreements between carriers, some of which are non-signatory to the agreement, but recognize it as the basis for the proration of interline revenues.
The Agency's Proviso Composer is a web based software application and the heart of how 200 signatory airlines distribute their settlement requirements amongst themselves. The application allows for viewing, submitting and downloading passenger proration information securely online.
Safe Host delivered a fully secured and cost effective solution for the Proviso Composer application on-time, on-budget and on-target, confirming or even exceeding the agency's expectations with regard to delivery efficiency.
To ensure high availability of the application Safe Host designed and implemented a resiliently configured infrastructure at its purpose built data center in Geneva. As part of the outsourcing agreement Safe Host provides the agency with full management and maintenance of the solution¿s secured Internet access, hardware, operating system, backup and disaster recovery.
